Kevin Sorbo, the "Atheist" in "God Is Not Dead", Offends Atheists

Kevin Sorbo Comments About Atheists Offend Many On Both Sides

"Kevin Sorbo’s comments about Atheists anger toward religion and God have upset many atheists. In a recent interview Sorbo shed light onto the reason atheists attack religious fundamentals about God is because they are subconciously scared that God is looking down on them and judging them.
"During a God Is Not Dead DVD promotional tour the 55-year-old Kevin Sorbo said, “Why are atheists so angry at something they don’t believe in?” — on Christian radio host Rick Wiles’ show Tuesday afternoon.
"Sorbo attempted to feel sympathetic towards atheists but then he quickly retracted when he said, “On the one hand,” he continued,
“I feel sorry for them, but then I kind of laugh at them. Why would anybody spend so much time ranting and raving about something they don’t believe in?”
Well, the poor Atheist darlings are constantly dyspeptic about nearly everything in this country. If they saw the movie, they likely have been dyspeptic ever since.

The correct answer to Sorbo is that Atheism attracts the chronically upset in the first place, those who pity themselves because they don't always get their way, so they wish to elevate their power somehow and without moral consequence, in order to better their lives by controlling and/or demeaning others. That is exactly why the FFRF attacks the small fry (only) and why Atheists demand an all Atheist government. It is why the televised and motion picture media is saturated in degradation. It is why the network news does not report over half of the news on any given day. Atheists overwhelmingly flow directly to the Left, where their messiahist totalitarian fantasies gain a fantasy sort of traction. But it galls them that a very high percentage of the US population deems them morally to be below scurrilous child molesters, because, after all, Atheists have no common set of morals. (Dawkins won't even say that Hitler was "wrong"). So avoiding interchanges with Atheists is seen as common sense, a rational form of discrimination, like not picking up dead rats with your bare hands.

Atheists have no firm grounding in either evidence or logic which can support their claims to be based in evidence and logic. So they are on purely emotional turf right from the get-go, and on through their entire existence. Being always on emotional after-burners has got to lead to tetchiness, so of course they lash out, no matter how friendly they advertise themselves to be.

When you hate something all the time (like moral constraint), that hate is bound to come out in anger, especially if you live in a culture which still values moral constraint, which you hate. Still, there is no pressure on Atheists to accept any morality or religion, other than whatever pressure arises from residual guilt which might be present in their vestigial consciences. So their claims of discrimination in modern America is without basis.

More succinctly, Atheists are angry because they are weak, intellectually and morally as well as in their own personal lives. Strong people don't rattle on about how they are discriminated against. Intellectuals can support their worldviews with disciplined logic and, if applicable, empirical data. Moral people don't make up their own morality to fit their personal proclivity. And people who are actually tolerant, tolerate other worldviews rather than try to wipe them out, and that's why Atheism has found free rein in western, previously Christian, nations which have been tolerant of their antics, so far.

But Kevin, there's no reason to feel sorry for Atheists; they feel plenty sorry for themselves. But don't laugh at them; use logic. That's what befuddles them. Then invite them in for a BLT and soda pop, and a nice chat.

I am surprised that we haven't seen an Atheist come on here and say "You are wrong. We aren't mad at God. You are projecting" or some other nonsense.

Atheists quit commenting here the day that I changed the log in procedure for commenting. When they have to reveal something of their identity, they just don't. Brandon is an exception, but he faded out, too.

Kevin Sorbo says he's sick of what he calls Hollywood's intolerance to those who believe in God.

Same thing is happening in the scientific community. If you're a God-believing scientist,be sure not to share your beliefs with your colleagues if you want to keep your job or seek a promotion.
